The existing electrical service will be assessed to ensure it has sufficient amperage to accommodate the new charging load, and the electrical panel will be evaluated to confirm that it has suitable spare capacity for a new 2-pole breaker.
All materials included in the quote are new and have not been previously used.*
* Except when the circuit breakers are discontinued and the customer chooses not to replace the electrical panel.
Quote Exclusions
Trenching / Excavation The client is responsible for trenching required to run conduit from the main service panel to the desired location of the electric vehicle charger
Repairs for Plaster and Paint The installation of a charging station can lead to repair work. Any necessary repairs, including plastering and painting, are excluded from the price and are the responsibility of the customer.
WIFI For optimal functioning, a stable and strong WiFi connection is required for most EV Chargers. Ensuring that the charger is connected to the home’s internet is the responsibility of the homeowner.
Charger Configuration Configuration of the charger is necessary for certain EV Chargers and can only be done remotely via a mobile app on a personal cellular device. The homeowner is responsible for charger configuration.
Electrical Changes It is understood that any necessary modifications or additions to the existing electrical setup required to complete the installation of the EV charger will be charged to the client separately. In the event that the electrician is unable to carry out the installation due to these changes, a custom quote will be provided to the client, and the work may need to be scheduled at a later date.
